I am in L O V E with this simple oatmeal cinnamon shake recipe!
Now that it is officially Fall, it is hard to not get excited about cooler weather and all the Fall treats that come along with this season. However, this Fall is a little different than years past for me. This year, I am determined to stay healthy and not over indulge in all the delicious treats the season has to offer…
Who says eating healthy can’t be delicious!? In my opinions it’s more delicious and leaves you feeling better all year long.
Oatmeal Cinnamon Shake Recipe
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Juice Plus+ Complete)
-1/3 cup previously cooked oatmeal
-8 ounces non-dairy milk (I use almond milk but any kind will do)
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-spoonful of honey
-handful of ice
Blend and enjoy! You won’t regret it!
I know you are thinking….previously cooked oatmeal?!?! Really? That sounds crazy! I just throw that in the trash!
Just trust me on this one…you are in for quite a treat!
In addition to the delicious taste it adds to the shake, it adds additional nutrition. It also makes the shake more filling, making it the perfect breakfast or afternoon treat!
Pictured below is the one I enjoyed after decorating my house for Fall with the kiddos! They of course had a shake a well!
Don’t you just LOVE decorating for fall! The changing of the seasons makes me so happy! The time of transition is so fun!
What are some delicious fall treats your family enjoy? I love trying new things!
